Caring Masculinities in Action

The Institute for Masculinity Research and Gender Studies (VMG) invites you to the symposium "Caring Masculinities in Action" on December 6, 2023 in the Audimax of University of Applied Science FH JOANNEUM. The conference thematizes Caring Masculinities in the context of violence prevention. In addition to a keynote speech by Mart Busche (Professorship at ASH Berlin), experts from six European countries will present essential findings, materials and methods from the European Change Agent Project Caring Masculinities in Action in panel lectures and workshops. The conference will be held in German and English. The conference is supported by the European Union, the Austrian Social Ministry and the Province of Styria/ Department 6 Education and Society. The conference takes place in cooperation with the Umbrella Organisation of Men' Work in Austria (DMÖ), the GenderLab and the University of Applied Science FH JOANNEUM.
